About Me.

I am the artist behind the LLC Ayanoni. I have been artistic since I was a child, but it wasn’t until recently (after I had my first son) that I decided to pursue a career from my art. In my early years of college I studied photography and graphic design before taking a sabbatical to travel and figure out what I really wanted out of this life. In that time I spent 6 months traveling Europe and I had the opportunity to explore most of Italy, and parts of Germany & Croatia. Once back in the USA I continued my travels, living out of my car with my cat Jamerson while exploring 42 of the 50 states in 2 years.

It was after this period of my life that I ended up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where I eventually planted my roots. I moved to CO in 2014 and have been here ever since. I am beyond blessed to be able to call these beautiful mountains my home.

I am an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast. Throughout my time in Colorado I have studied the mountain eco systems, niches, native plants and flowers. Wildflowers are my absolute favorite. I went back to school in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in biology; with a concentration in microbiology and double minors in chemistry and environmental science. After graduating I got a job working as a microbiologist in hospital laboratory and I absolutely loved it. However, I ended up quitting that job after having my son because I wanted to be fully present as a mom.

Becoming a mother has been the best thing I have ever done, and it has simultaneously led to a creative awakening within me. My art and creativity has really blossomed this past year and I am ready to share that with the world. “Aya-noni” means “becoming the truest version of yourself.” I decide to name my company AYANONI because motherhood has allowed me the space to become the truest version of myself, and it has been an extremely beautiful thing.

So, with all that being said, I am happy you are here! I hope you enjoy my art and I look forward to working with you in the future.
